Verbal
communication is the use of language to transfer/share information through
speaking or writing.
It is
one of the most common types used during presentations, video conferences,
phone calls, meetings and one-to-one conversations.

factors which determine the effectiveness of verbal communication are

6. What is Oral communication?
The
process of expressing information or ideas through spoken words is known as
oral communication.

process of sending messages in form of written words to convey information is
known as written communication.

Non-Verbal
communication means communicating without the use of words, oral or written. It
includes body language, gestures, facial expressions, eye contact, pointing
fingers, etc.

communication.

charts and graphs to convey information.

Communication
cycle is the process by which a message is sent by one individual, and it
passes through a chain of recipients.

Name and explain the different elements of communication cycle.
The different elements of Communication
cycle are:
i) Sender (Source): The person who wants to
send the message
ii) Idea: The information which the sender
wants to share with the receiver.
iii) Message: This is the final piece of
information that is conveyed to the receiver
iv) Encoding: This is the common language
for the message selected by the sender and can be understood by the receiver.
v) Communication channel: It is the medium
selected by the sender to transfer the message to the receiver.
vi) Receiver (Target): The person to whom
the message is to be sent
vii) Decoding: Interpretation of the
message by the receiver.
viii) Feedback: The receiver’s response to
the message.

What is Perspective in communication?
Perspective is an individual’s point of
view through which they interpret and understand every communication and event
happening around them.
Different people have different perceptive
as everyone sees things differently from others.

The principles of Effective Communication
also known as 7Cs of communication are
Clear, Concise, Concrete, Correct, Coherent, Complete and Courteous.
Clear:
Be clear about what you want to say
Concise:
Use simple words and say only what is needed
Concrete:
Use exact words and phrases
Correct:
Use correct spellings, languages and grammar.
Coherent:
Your words should make sense and should be related to the main topic
Complete:
Your message should have all the needed information
Courteous:
Be respectful, friendly and honest.
